About Our School
Jefferson Christian Academy first opened its doors in 1914 to provide quality academic and vocational training for grades 9-12. We offer a close family-like atmosphere with a very low student/teacher ration that allows for a personalized approach. JCA is a full service boarding school with about half of our students living in the dormitories.
Our campus work program allows students to earn credit towards their tuition while learning valuable life skills. Part of that initiative is the Agriculture program, ideally suited for our rural location in Northeast Texas.
Students have the opportunity to work in the fields and greenhouses. They plant and raise produce used in the cafeteria and then get to experience the full process of growth through enjoying the fruits of their labor in a very literal way.
